VeriFactu is one of the compliance modes under Spain's Regulation on Invoicing Software Systems (RRSIF). In this mode, billing records are automatically submitted to the Spanish Tax Agency. What becomes mandatory is the use of an RRSIF-compliant system: from 1 January 2027 for companies (Impuesto sobre Sociedades) and from 1 July 2027 for self-employed workers and other taxpayers.
